YART Sale - Downtown Florence

Description:
The inaugural Florence artists' YARD/Art (YART) sale provided
a chance for artists to dust off and display works that never
made it to the gallery or art market. Something was available
for every arts enthusiast and numerous items were available at
bargain prices as passers-by stopped to check in on the displays
(and make purchases). An overcast and somewhat humid 4th of July
weekend still prompted visitors and locals to take a stroll down
Court Street all day long.
Artists in attendance included artists Vance Wesson and Shannon
Wells, photographer and instructor at UNA. Jean Schulman was on
scene in the afternoon.
